The Tanning Lounge reserves the right to update and modify the Terms and Conditions without notice. It is the responsibility of customers to periodically check back for updates or when making a purchase or booking to ensure compliance with the latest terms and conditions.

By using our website, social media or making a booking, you agree to accept these terms and conditions. If you disagree with any of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website, social media or make a booking.

Our website or social media may include links to other websites or social media owned and operated by third parties. We have no control over third-party websites and their contents, and we accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Clients must register before using any of our sunbeds.

Users registering with this website or at The Tanning Lounge Cheltenham do so at their own discretion and provide any such personal details requested at their own risk.

Your personal information is kept private and stored until a time it is no longer required or has no use, as detailed in the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR Legalisation.

All effort has been made to ensure the safe and secure form to email submission process but advise users using any form to email process at their own risk.

Strictly over the age of 18 to use sunbeds only.

Strictly no under 18's in any of the sunbed cubicles at any given time.

No children under the age of 12 are to be left unattended in the salon for health and safety reasons.

Only one person in each tanning cubicle at one time.

Sunbeds should only be used once every 24 hours and no more than 500 minutes a year in total, we will refuse to permit anyone to use the sunbeds more than once within the 24-hour period 

No food or drink is to be taken into the sunbed rooms.

Always wear protective goggles when using the sunbed (provided free of charge with “winkies” every tanning session). Avoid looking directly into the sunbed tubes. Remove any glasses or contact lenses before using the sunbeds.

Do not touch the bulbs or tamper with any equipment.

If you have any signs of redness from sunbathing do not repeat a tanning treatment within the next 72 hours, or until all signs of redness, itching and burning sensation have disappeared. If in doubt, consult a doctor.

Outdoor tanning lotions and oils are not permitted for indoor tanning exposure. 

Do not use tanning beds if unstructured so beauticians or any other medical practitioners outside our premises (in cases of dermatological treatments incompatible with UV exposure).

Tanning packages are valid for a total of 6 months from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise.

Do not undergo UV exposure when taking medicines which increase the sensitivity to ultra-violet radiation. If in doubt, take medical advice.

Make-up, jewelry, perfumes, and deodorants should not be worn during any sunbed session.

No refunds are given on purchases, packages, subscriptions, minutes, or products. ⁠ No refunds will be provided unless under medical exemption. Customers seeking a refund due to medical reasons must email their medical exemption to tanningloungecheltenham@gmail.com for consideration.

Gift cards are non-transferable and expire within 6 months.

Do not use sunbeds if pregnant.

Packages are not transferable, you are not allowed to share minutes or customer profiles.

Do not use sunbeds if you suffer side effects from normal sunbathing (severe burns, large moles, freckles).

Follow recommendations concerning exposure times, intervals between and exposure from the lamp .

Clients are required to inform The Tanning Lounge Cheltenham immediately of any change in circumstances that affect their eligibility to use UV.

Please note that the customer lotion storage facility is provided as a gesture of goodwill and we regret that we cannot be held responsible for any losses whatsoever. We have the right to dispose of any lotions that haven’t been used for over 6 months.

10% Student discount/Blue Light Card is only valid for tanning minutes and courses and cannot be applied to any other treatment.

Customers must have a valid student/Blue Light Card discount card in order to receive a discount. If you cannot produce such documentation you may be required to pay full price for your booking.

We will not be liable to you in respect of any losses arising out of any event or events beyond our reasonable control, or in respect of any special, indirect or consequential loss or damage.

No smoking is allowed in the salon.

Clients must not be intoxicated on site or use the sunbeds. Should clients become intoxicated, The Tanning Lounge Cheltenham reserves the right to require them to leave and refuse use on sunbeds.

Clients that make excessive noise or who otherwise, at our sole discretion and in our sole judgment, disturb other clients, will be asked to leave.
